Coin Collecting Is Fun!
Coin Consignment

Are you interested in selling your coins? Whether you have a small collection or a large collection, we can help. United States coinage is our specialty. We are a member of the American Numismatic Association and are listed on the ANA Website. We have a large, satisfied customer base with many repeat customers. We have a solid reputation for accurately representing the grades and conditions of the coins that we sell. We have sold literally thousands of coins on consignment and have many happy clients.

Here's how it works:

We either pick up your coins or you ship them to us. If we pick up the coins, we provide you with a signed contract at that time. If you ship to us, we will send you two copies of a contract signed by both of us and ask that you sign the copies and send one back to us in the postage paid envelope provided.

We provide you with a fully comprehensive receipt of all coins received. This is sent via email in a Word document. We decide the best way to market your coins, which could be in small lots, collections, or individually. We supply a list of the coins that will be listed each night that includes date, type, condition, Red Book value, and starting price (if we're going to run it at live auction) or the fixed price (if we're going to put it into our store inventory).

We take all of the pictures (ours are among the best on eBay), design the auctions, and handle all listings. We provide excellent customer service to our clients as well as our buyers. We collect the money and ship the coins. We use USPS Delivery Confirmation and U-pic insurance to make sure all our packages arrive safely.

On Fridays, we draft a check to our clients for all auctions that have paid by 9 a.m. The checks are mailed with that day's mail. With your check, you receive a complete spreadsheet breakdown that details the selling price, our commission, the Whitman Red Book value, and the percentage of book value realized for each sale.

How much does all of this service cost? We ask 30 percent of the sale price to provide the highest level of service possible. We pay all fees from our commission.

If this sounds fair to you, please email us or give us a call. No collection is too small or too large. An email costs you nothing, so what have you got to lose?
